It’s less than six months out from the election, and our international team is getting set for the most comprehensive international campaign yet. We welcome party Co-leader Metiria Turei to London this week to meet passionate Kiwis and spread the Green vision worldwide.
Metiria was in the UK to attend the Global Greens Congress in Liverpool and took the opportunity to pop down to London to mingle with the huge New Zealand population in the city.
More than 30 Kiwis turned up to meet her at a pub in the shadow the famous St Paul’s cathedral. Conversation ranged from her vision for New Zealand, what the Greens would do in government and how important it was to include Kiwis overseas in discussions about the future of the country.
Metiria also took the time to film a video for international Kiwis with an important message – make sure you vote in the Election on September 23. The future of New Zealand is at stake!
